ARLISS

What is ARLISS ??

ARLISS is a suborbital satellite launch demonstration for the development of small satellites and small ground rovers. It is a competition in which students compete in basic research on space exploration technologies, and is held annually in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA.

The Takadama laboratory participates in the Comeback Competition, in which small satellites and rovers released from rockets compete to land/run autonomously to a destination in the desert, and in the Mission Competition, in which they accomplish a mission they set themselves by autonomous control.
